Ben Golden is a Wealth & Tax Optimization Strategist who leads Golden Tax Relief and IRS Trouble Solvers. An Enrolled Agent, Certified Tax Planner, Certified Tax Coach and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, he helps business owners legally reduce what they owe the IRS — and helps taxpayers who already owe it find a way out. He is the author of The Art of Tax Planning and hosts the Financially FAT podcast.

Background

Ben’s career in tax began in the back office. Through his postgraduate years and the career that followed, he prepared returns for a wide range of clients — corporations, trusts, estates and individuals — moving from clerk to staff accountant to business owner.

He purchased Golden Income Tax & Accounting Inc. in Thomasville, Alabama, where he focused on individual taxes, then founded HSG Accounting Inc. in Panama City, Florida, built to support businesses and their owners. Golden Tax Relief LLC followed, and its origin was personal: identity theft put Ben on the receiving end of the IRS’s bureaucracy, and fighting his way through it convinced him that taxpayers needed someone who could do that work for them.

Today he leads two practices that sit at opposite ends of the same problem. Golden Tax Relief builds proactive, custom tax plans that give high-income business owners legal avenues to reduce what they owe, freeing capital to reinvest in their businesses and their lives. IRS Trouble Solvers represents taxpayers who are already in trouble with the agency and need a path back to compliance. Both operate nationwide from offices in Thomasville, Alabama and Elmhurst, Illinois.
